  1. Buenos dias Dhanonjoy, how is your day going today?

Thanks for doing the tapa cloth activity! I’m excited to see it but unfortunately when I open the google doc you have linked, I can’t access it. Are you able to please grant SLJ access to this document?

I look forward to seeing it when it's accessible! Thanks Dhanonjoy.

  3. Ahiahi pai Dhanonjoy,

Thanks for sharing that beautiful image of the tapa cloth that you found online! I went to the website and had a closer look - I found it very interesting that it is a wedding tapa, comes from Fiji, and is held in the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. What is your favourite part of this tapa? I love the triangles and floral patterns - it is a stunning piece of art.

If you were to draw or design your own tapa cloth, what would it look like? I know how creative you are so if you feel like it, you can show me your own design in the comments below :)

Have a great rest of your day and thanks for posting - keep it up!

    2. Kia Ora Dhanonjoy,

Thank you so much for updating your post - the tapa design you have painted is INCREDIBLE. Your creativity and artistic abilities continue to blow me away! Where do you get your art resources from? I’m so glad you enjoy doing art, because you’re really really good at it - I hope you continue to do it!

Did you get your inspiration for this design from that wedding tapa you posted before?

Thanks for the post, I really enjoyed it :)

      Have a great evening,
      Eliza :)

    1. Mōrena Dhanonjoy, thanks for your response :)

It’s so cool that you get your paints from Bangladesh! Does a family member send them over to you, or do you just get them when you visit your country? When I went to India a few years ago, my mum stayed on for 6 weeks longer and taught art classes to children at an orphanage, and I remember her saying that the quality and price of art supplies over there was so much better than here in NZ, so I think you’re onto something there Dhanonjoy!

It's so great that you can get inspiration from other people’s art but also just from your own experiences.

Have a great day and keep up the awesome blogging! Remember you’ve got until midnight tonight to get as many posts done as you can :)

      Eliza.
